WE NEED TONS OF VOTES so please pass this information on to friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, facebook contacts - anyone you think might help us by voting every day. Mud with a Bling  /  Posted 07/27/10

By jantess

When was the last time you played in the mud and were covered up to your ankles? That gooey feeling that is so gross, yet it kind of feels good. I think in the city you pay a lot of money at a fancy spa to get that 'mud treatment'. It was fun when 4 of us grown adult kids played in the river and mud and then enjoyed grilled burgers and beer on the deck. I think Linda did a pretty classy job of dressing up her muddy feet--nothing like a lot of mud with a little bling!

A Good Tired  /  Posted 07/16/10

Don't you just love when you play (or maybe) work so hard that you are just exhausted? It makes you feel like you really accomplished something. We had so much fun last week with our 'granddogs'. They totally wore themselves out every day playing, running after sticks, swimming and following us around. Sometimes we think they are almost human. Aren't animals great, they love ya and slobber all over you--no matter what!

AWE-Moment  /  Posted 04/09/10

By jantess

I LOVE when magical moments happen to me. I hurried to get the car to the service station this AM--why did I make that appointment so early? Oh-well too late to change. As is so often the case, there was a reason. This AM the reason was to run into an old friend that I had not really talked to for 4 1/2 years. Sitting in the same car lounge waiting for her car to be serviced, was Connie, because a dash light warned her that she had a problem. First we caught up on the past years. Then she said, "you have no idea-what perfect timing to have run into you--seriously, no idea". Not really knowing what is happening in her life, I do know that this often happens when we need to connect with someone! I call them AWE-Moments because I am constantly reminded that God is an Awesome God and brings people to us when we need them most. By the way--her light came on because she had not tightened her gas cap all the way. Now that is an AWEsome moment!
