What's PEP-PERSPECTIVES all about?

1. What's this site about?
   
   • PEP-PERSPECTIVES is a community that strives to empower all women, their accomplishments and their opinions, empowers women via knowledge, support and friendships, mentors women by sharing experiences and expertise and promotes women gathering together to personally share their ideas and passions.
2. How does the site work?
   
   • Sign up as a member and fill out your profile. You can post a photo and / or video to share with only your friends or all PEP website users. You can instant message your friends, see their photos and video too! Active participation in PEP Talk and E2 Shared Forums are encouraged and you can even subscribe to your favorite PEP authors, and they can subscribe to you.    • Click here to have your password resent to you.
2. How do I change my password?
   • Click the My Account link at the top of any Profile Management page.
   • Scroll down to Change Password and enter your new password.
   • Click Save Changes.
3. How can I change my email address or update my preferences?
   • Click the My Account link at the top of any Profile Management page.
   • Scroll down to change email preferences, privacy settings, change password, or update contact information.
   • Click Save Changes.
4. How do I delete my profile?
   • Click Cancel My PEP Membership and let us know you would like your account deleted.

   • You can report offensive behavior to Customer Service. Click here to email us.
2. How do I control who can message me?
   • Only Friends you have accepted may message you.

   • Click on your name link at the top left of any page to go to your profile.
   • You can update your basic info here

1. How do I find friends on the site?
   • Use the Search Tool below the navigation bar and enter a member name you are looking for.
   • Also, see below to invite your friends.
2. How do I invite my friends to PEP-PERSPECTIVES.com?
   • Click on the Friends Tab in your Home Space Members Area
   • From your Home Space Friends Page, enter an email address and send out a request or import emails from any major e-mail account address book like G-Mail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or AOL
3. How do I send a friend request?
   • From a PEP Member’s PEP Talk Article post, simply roll over their Member Name and you will find a pop-up with a link to send a Friends Request to that member. OR when viewing any Members Public Profile you can click on the “Send Friends Request” tab above their profile.
   • In the pop-up box, write a message to be sent to them requesting them as your friend. It is always a good idea to let them know why you wish to be their friend. (e.g. similar interests, met this at an event, went to the same school, have the same occupation, etc)
4. Is it okay to send friend requests to people I don't know?
   • PEP-PERSPECTIVES.com is meant for people to connect with existing friends or to make new connections. So, if you feel you may get along with someone, then absolutely! However, using friend requests for commercial or promotional purposes (spamming) is not acceptable and all PEP users are encouraged to report as such.
5. I got a friend request from someone I don't know. Should I accept it?
   • If you feel the person would be an interesting new contact for you, yes! However, use caution if it appears the request is coming from someone with a commercial interest or is simply trying to amass a lot of connections. Remember, that once you accept the friend request, that person can see the full name you entered, as well as send you messages, but they won't see your email address. It's best to choose friends you feel you can trust.
6. If I decline someone's friend request, will they be notified?
   • No, you won't see the friend request pending on your My Stuff page and to the other person, it will appear as if they never invited you.
7. If I remove someone as a friend, will they be notified?
   • No, you just won't appear on each other's friends list.
8. How do I manage my friends?
   • In your Members area you will need to select the Manage Friends tab.
   • You will see the profile photo for each friend and can Unfriend them here if needed.

   • In your Members area you will need to select the Manage Friends tab.
2. How can I manage my PEP Talk Article Posts?
   • You can simply log in and go to your my Articles & Forums page where you can add, edit, or delete any PEP Talk Article post.
3. How can I manage my Ew Shared Forum Posts?
   • You can simply log in and go to your my Articles & Forums page where you can add, edit, or delete any E2 Shared Forum post
4. What is a Subscription?
   • A PEP Subscription allows you to Subscribe to all your favorite PEP member authors and then be notified whenever they post an PEP Talk Article or E2 Shared Forum.

1. What is a Public PEP Gallery?
   • Public PEP Galleries are those that both members and non-members can view.
2. What is a Public PEP Video Gallery?
   • Public PEP Video Gallery can be viewed by both members and non-members.
3. Who sees my images in my Profile Gallery and are there privacy settings?
   • When you load an image in your Home Space members area you can choose who sees your images and where your images appear.
4. How do I manage my images in my Gallery?
   • When you load an image in your Home Space members area you can add, delete, or edit current images as well as photo groups.
5. How do I manage my Video?
   • You can manage your Video in your Home Space members area.
6. What is the scoop with the shared images amongst my friends and PEP Gift Giving Concepts?
   • When you load an image in your Home Space members area you can assign permissions for each of your images which can (if you wish) allow friends to make photo books or other products as a keepsake or gift items.
